Rules
To ensure that all guests have a pleasant experience at VÅG Havbadstue, we kindly ask that the following rules be respected:
- Please take a shower with soap and water before entering the sauna, and rinse thoroughly for good hygiene.
- Sit on a towel when using the sauna to maintain cleanliness and comfort.
- Only fresh water from tap or shower on the sauna stoves!
- To maintain a relaxing and health-promoting atmosphere, we do not allow the use of drugs or consumption of food in the sauna.
- Show consideration and respect for other guests, and be mindful of their privacy.
- Children under 16 years of age have to be accompanied by an adult for their safety.
- Please tidy up and mop the locker room before leaving the sauna, so it remains clean and welcoming for the next guest.
- For safety reasons, bathing alone is not allowed. Please always have a companion who can be on the pier while you bathe.
- Only guests with a booked appointment have access to the sauna. We kindly ask you not to grant access to uninvited guests, as both the guest and the accompanying guest may risk permanent exclusion.
- The use of the sauna and bathing is at your own risk. If you feel uncomfortable, dizzy, or sleepy, we recommend that you leave the sauna immediately.
- Please be aware that the floor may be slippery. Please move carefully to avoid any accidents.
- Harstad Havbadstue reserves the right to inspect guests to ensure that all terms and sauna rules are followed.

Terms and conditions
1.0 COMPANY
www.vaaghavbadstue.no is provided by Harstad Havbadstue AS. Harstad Havbadstue is a provider registered in the Brønnøysund Register with organization number 926 838 342. Information and images on the website are owned by the company and cannot be copied without permission.
2.0 PRICES
Harstad Havbadstue has fixed prices. The prices shown include any taxes and fees.
3.0 PAYMENT
Payment is made using the selected payment method at checkout. The payment solution is provided by Periode AS, a partner of Vipps AS.
3.1 CARD PAYMENT
Visa, MasterCard, and Maestro are accepted forms of payment. Credit cards are charged when the purchase is made.
3.2 VIPPS
Payment with VIPPS is made using a mobile number and verification of mobile bank ID.
4.0 CANCELLATION AND CHANGES
Renting the private sauna: Upon cancellation up to 72 hours before your reserved sauna time, 50% of the amount can be refunded, or you can receive 100% of the paid amount as a gift card. The right of withdrawal cannot be invoked in connection with concluded agreements on the rental of time in our saunas in accordance with the Consumer Contracts Act of 2014 § 22 letter m. If we have to close due to coronavirus restrictions or otherwise, we will refund 100% of the amount. Drop-in sessions are non-refundable. You can change the appointment up to 72 hours before for both private and drop-in sessions. If you wish to change the appointment, you must first book a new appointment, and then we will refund the initial booking. Please contact us at post@vaaghavbadstue.no.
5.0 REFUND
Refunds shall be made as soon as possible and no later than 30 days after receipt and approval of the refund claim.
6.0 PRIVACY, SECURITY, AND PERSONAL INFORMATION

10.0 MEMBERSHIP
Membership purchased at Harstad Havbadstue is valid for one year and automatically renews unless you choose to terminate it. Membership is personal and applies to the person it is registered to. Membership provides a discounted price for sauna use, including a discount on renting a private sauna. Membership is delivered immediately after payment. Membership can be terminated here: http://minside.periode.no/
10.1 RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
You have a 14-day right of withdrawal on the membership. If you wish to exercise your right of withdrawal, please send an email to post@vaaghavbadstue.no. Please note that the right of withdrawal lapses as soon as the membership is used.
10.2 TERMINATION
You can terminate the membership and «fixed payments» by following the instructions at http://minside.periode.no/. There is no minimum term for membership.
11.0 SUBSCRIPTION
11.1 MONTHLY PASS
The monthly pass is valid for 31 days from the date of purchase. It is personal and can only be used by the person it is registered to. The agreement has no minimum term but continues until you terminate it here: http://minside.periode.no/. The monthly pass is delivered immediately after purchase.
11.2 ANNUAL PASS
The annual pass is valid for 365 days from the date of purchase. It is personal and can only be used by the person it is registered to. The agreement has no minimum term but continues until you terminate it here: http://minside.periode.no/. The annual pass is delivered immediately after purchase.
12.0 GIFT CARDS
Gift cards can be purchased at VÅG Havbadstue and are valid for one year from the date of purchase. Gift cards are not personal and can be used by anyone. Gift cards cannot be canceled and are non-refundable. The gift card can be used as payment for sauna experiences and memberships.
